Rescue a Local Pet in Need at the Horses in Harmony Pet Adoption ...

Join Save Our Florida Pets Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th from 9am to 3pm at Horses in Harmony (36201 County Road 439, Eustis, FL 32736) for a Pet Adoption Event!

Bring your friends and family to meet the adoptable dogs and puppies and say hello to the horses. Pet and horse related vendors are welcome to come and sell their products and services at NO CHARGE! Food vendors are also welcome at NO CHARGE. (Email Devon at onefitbrit@aol.com if you are a vendor who plans on attending)

All potential homes will be asked to complete an adoption application and each dog will be adopted out with an adoption contract. We know all genuine animal lovers will understand that our concern is that these animals do not end up being placed in dangerous situations such as bait dogs for pitbull fighting rings, sold for experimentation or just a plain mismatch as the new family.

1. Jamie - 13 Week Old German Shepherd Mix Puppy, Female, Black and Tan
2. Bambi - 13 Week Old Hound Mix Puppy, Female, Tan and White
3. Brie - 13 Week Old Hound Mix Puppy, Female, White and Tan
4. Kari - 11 Week Old American Bulldog Puppy, Female, Brown and White
5. Raven - 5 Month Old Catahoula Mix Hound Puppy, Female, Black and White
6. Ruby - 5 Month Old Catahoula Mix Hound Puppy, Female, White with Tan Speckles
7. Rosie - 5 Month Old Catahoula Mix Hound Puppy, Female, Brindle and White
8. Roxie - 5 Month Old Catahoula Mix Hound Puppy, Female, Copper and White

All puppies have been vaccinated and wormed. They have also been started on Heartworm and Flea preventative.

9. Lexus - 2 Year Old, Chihuahua x Dachsund, Male, Housebroken, No Bark, No Chew - AWESOME Dog! Cream. Approx 20lbs.

10. Autumn - 2 Year Old, Catahoula x Lab, Female, she was horribly abused, neglected and skinny prior to our rescuing her in November 2011. Just a fabulous and very beautiful girl. Approx 40lbs. Vaccinated, up to date on everything. Heartworm negative.

11. Tango - 2.5 Year Old, Black Mouth Cur, Male. Great family dog, higher energy. Neutered, vaccinated, up to date on everything. Heartworm negative.

12. Carla - 7 Year Old, Lab Mix, Female. Great dog who needs a quiet, adult home with no other dogs. She does not require lots of exercise. Tolerates cats. Spayed, vaccinated, up to date on everything.

13. Hayley - 4 Year Old, Australian Shepherd Mix, female. Great with other dogs, cows, horses, geese, ducks, chickens, indoor cats. Needs fenced yard. Spayed, vaccinated, up to date on everything. Great girl!

14. Joker - 2 Year Old, Mastiff x Black Mouth Cur, Male. Quiet, Calm, Obedient! Neutered, vaccinated, up to date on everything. Heartworm negative. This is a large dog that is looking for his fur-ever home. He does chase chickens, which is why he was sentenced to die at the kill shelter.? He has been so depressed since he was dumped and left to die. A huge teddy bear and sad old soul!

There will also be a large bird rescue group in attendance if you are interesting in adopting or become a foster home for these beautiful birds.?? "Parrots As Pets Rescue" (www.ParrotsAsPetsRescue.com).? This great rescue organization will be bringing some of their beautiful birds along.? We will also have used tires and auto accessories for sale.? These have been donated to our rescue by Gibson Truck World (www.GibsonTruckWorld.com) to help us raise funds to pay for the food and medical bills for our horses and dogs.
